Urban Fun | The Davis Family | Noblesville Family Photographer

This session really mixed it up for me. I normally shoot at parks or in natural settings. I was excited to get out of that environment and hold a session in an urban location. Downtown Noblesville was a great spot for a family session and I love some of the textures that are incorporated into the photos. Everyone in the Davis family was a trooper through a chilly May afternoon - with the kids even snuggling in blankets in-between shots. It was also great to capture the different dynamics of this family that includes three older kids and a baby (Avery, 14, Parker, 12, Maddox, 9, and Daxton at 10 months). A huge thanks to Todd and Laura for allowing me to take their family photos - everyone was so much fun! And I really enjoyed Todd's silly faces in some of the more candid photos - kept me laughing all through the editing process. (:

Man on the Move | The Richards Family | Indianapolis Family Photographer

At the time of this session, I was seven months pregnant, but I still considered myself pretty fit and able to chase my smallest clients around. 15 month old Jack was certainly trying to prove me wrong. He was a man on the move and I was sweating by the end of the session. Parents Eric and Kristin have their hands full with their little man, but as you can see in the pictures, he is one sweet and happy kiddo. The Richards Family was one of the monthly feature families for Trader's Point Living. They dressed just right for the upcoming July issue - red, white, and blue!

Anya at 6 months | Session at Turkey Foot Nature Park | Zionsville Family Photographer

I was SO excited for this morning session - perfect light, bright yellow field of flowers, the greenery, and well, my clients were pretty awesome too. (: Lufi (mom) and I worked together briefly in the accounting world - I was on my way out to stay home with my boys when she came aboard. But in the short time we worked together I knew I liked her - great personality, funny and just so likeable. (: I was elated when her and her husband, Hans, asked me to photograph their family of three for their daughter's 6 month photos. And I'll let the photos speak for themselves...........she is ADORABLE! I'm currently pregnant and she pretty much made me want to have a little girl to dress up. (: (don't worry, future child, if you are male, that is perfectly fine - I'll love you just the same). But really, can't you see what I mean??

Spring Mini Sessions | Holliday Park | Indianapolis Family Photographer

I was very excited to offer spring mini sessions this year. My first batch was held at Holliday Park in Indianapolis. My family visits this park often - the hit being the rockwalls that my boys love to climb (they call it the "rockwall park"). Holliday Park is a gem in the middle of the Meridian Hills neighborhood and it's also going through a renovation to preserve the ruins that are on-site (see this interesting read about them). They also have a Nature Center that is a great educational trip for the kids, as well as trails for hiking.

I had two families participate in my Holliday Park mini's - mainly getting most shots around the Nature Center and it's beautiful surroundings. The Levine Family featured sweet 20 month old Charlotte. She was busy but so sweet. Her dad, John, is a fellow sponsor for the magazine Trader's Point Living. We had a great little session following miss Charlotte around and letting her explore.

My second session of the day was super fun. It featured the beautiful Covely sisters, Kate and Carson. Their mom Julie is one of the awesome child watch workers at the Pike YMCA and she takes wonderful care of my boys while I work out (and de-stress). Hope she is up for watching baby #3 in a few months! (: Anyway, this sisters session was so fun and I won't tell you what they were whispering in each other's ears to get each other to laugh. What happens at a photo session, stays at a photo session (well, unless it's photographed). (:

Happiness | The Quinto Family | Indianapolis Family Photographer

Families that truly enjoy each other are such a joy to capture. This session was SO easy for me because everyone was laughing and goofing around the entire time. They just exude happiness. The Quinto's purchased a session I donated to a silent auction for the St. Luke Methodist Church fall festival. My oldest son attends preschool there and Stephanie (mom) is a teacher in one of the 3's classes (not the one that my son is in, BUT she does sub for them periodically). I had heard Louis (my son) say "Mrs. Quinto" before but didn't make the connection until a few days prior to our session. Regardless - this family was a blast - their photos show it all:
